Open Basic TechniquesOne adjustment. A useful comparison.
Keep the athlete’s goal and existing program in view. Choose one variable—support, stance, range, grip, or load—and compare under the same conditions. Keep an adjustment when it improves the intended task and remains tolerable across sessions.
The MWK coaching sequence
A repeatable way to teach.
Establish the position and contact points. Organize the rib cage and pelvis for the task. Apply enough effort to move, allow the motion the task needs, manage pressure, and return to a repeatable check.
“Stack” and “expansion / compression” are MWK teaching lenses. They are not diagnoses, and a visible posture or immediate range change does not establish a tissue change.
Connect the practice to the theory.
Each pattern guide includes an on-site coaching reference. Connect the cues to the training you already use.
